About Me

Music Production

My passion for music started back in the early 2010s when I heard music by artists like Skrillex, Zedd, David Guetta, etc. During middle school I would get into video editing where I liked to sync up EDM songs to football hits and more. This over time made me switch over to producing music in 2020 when the pandemic hit. I'm not too sure myself on why it took my so long to start making music since my whole family were musicians, but everything comes with time I guess. So now it's 2020 and I just got my first ever DAW(Digital Audio Workstation) and was ready to start making music. I've been doing this for only around 2 years now and the number of things I have been able to do even blows my mind now. Having the opportunity to talk with big artists who have releases on labels is something I never expected. Also working along with a startup label and meeting new artists from across the globe still blows me away. In April, I'll be heading out to LA to meet up with artists and go to studios to work on music. Absolutely crazy if you ask me. Doing things like this after only 2 years of music production is almost unheard of. But I've learned that connections are key!

Music Block

Just like how writers have writers' block. Musicians have something like it called music block. For the past 6 months I have been in a music block, and it was one of the hardest things to break out of. What music block does to you mentally is that you continue to think that whatever you make is never good enough and that it might just be easier to quit or not make music at all. This is the exact reason many big artists take such a long time to release music. It's because they get caught up in a music block and are worried on if they'll ever be able to make good music that can top their last release and continue to impress listeners. As of Friday, February 3rd. I was able to finally upload a song to streaming services and break out of this music block I've been in for so long. Now I feel more motivated than ever to start creating music.
